Hi guys! Happy Monday! I have the day off today because I worked a full shift on Sunday, so I am spending the day relaxing, catching up on some blog posts, and spending time with my Mom. Weekends seem to fly by when you have work one or two of the days, but sometimes busy is good, it keeps things moving. I am really trying to start wearing more color, I know I usually stick to the basics, but all this hype over neon colors is making me want to start adding color into my wardrobe. I have wanted a bright orange ring for as long as I can remember, and this one is perfect! It’s just the right size stone, and the ring itself expands to fit your specific finger size.
This shirt was given to me by my cousin Riana in Cyprus when we visited a few years ago. I really love how simple it is, but it sends a strong message. I didn’t show you guys the back of the shirt, but there is a small quote written. It states “Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” I really love the message it sends, and the material is so comfortable that it has become one of my favorite t-shirts to wear. Sometimes the simplest things end up being our favorites!
On another note, I am sure you guys noticed the layout change on the blog. I want to send a huge thank you to Amy, who designed everything and put it up in one day! She is amazing, and I really can’t thank her enough. I really liked my other layout too but I was craving something a little bit simpler, and I feel like this fits the style I have been looking for. So thank you so much Amy, and I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks. (she’s coming to visit!). I also just realized last night that this little blog (that started as a
tiny hobby) has over 1,000 followers via GFC! It feels great to know that something I love has grown to be such a huge part of who I am now. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
