Simple black January 9, 2013
This week I was spoiled. I had two days off in a row, and I literally did nothing. It was great. By “I did nothing” I really mean I got a lot done and did homework for a few hours a day, but you know what I mean! Compared to the usual daily routine it seemed as though my load was extremely light, and I definitely need a little bit of that sometimes just to get back on track. The weather has been gorgeous around here. Not too windy, and so sunny. I have been really happy to be able to snap these pictures while the sun was still out at a decent hour. Usually by the time I get off of work it’s already sleeping, and I come home to a dark sky.
All this time on my hands has helped me plan somethings out in my head that I didn’t necessarily know how to approach. I’ve been thinking a lot about my future plans, my goals, and where I see myself a few months from now when graduation takes place and school is no longer. I’ve had some opportunities arise over the past few weeks that I am still considering, and wondering what will happen next. It’s all a really exciting time, and I am also pretty excited to start this internship in trend forecasting. I’m excited to become inspired by new things and make new connections. It’s all a little scary to be honest, but the only way out is through, so I have to push myself out of my comfort zone to be able to get anywhere.
I’m at a point in my life where I know what I want, and I know what I am looking for. I won’t settle for less then that. It’s a pretty amazing feeling to finally feel like everything is coming together. It’s about time, right?

Something I've been wondering about recently. I noticed you now sport acrylic nails. Why did you start wearing them vs natrual nails? Are they stronger and require less matinence? They are lovely and I'm just a bit curious.
