Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe it’s 2017 already? Unfortunately I spent the weekend pretty sick, and low key. We had to cancel our plans and I ended up lounging around most of the weekend, but I definitely think it was my body’s way of telling me to slow down and rest. Besides that I am pretty excited for the new year ahead. Every year is a new chance to start over, and a new reason to be thankful. 

This year has taught me so much, not only about myself, but about others in my life as well. I am planning on writing my 30th birthday post (my annual birthday post) this coming week. I am in the process of writing it, and finally feel inspired to share some thoughts that have been going around in my head. I hope you guys stick around for that, and I look forward to sharing it with you all, since it’s my favorite post to write every single year! I haven’t missed a year since 2010! Anyway, I hope you guys had an amazing New Year, and I am really looking forward to sharing some outfits and inspiration with you guys this year. 

I am loving this poncho for the winter months. I purchased this a few months ago, and it has been one of my favorite items this season. Not only is it warm, but it’s comfortable, and stylish too. I love the turtleneck, and the asymmetrical hem at the bottom.
