Pieces Into Place December 10, 2012
Hi everyone! Hope you had a good weekend. It’s official, my birthday festivities are over and now we await Christmas and New Years. This time of the year goes by so fast, and lately I truly feel that my first semester flew by. This is my last week of classes/finals and then next Monday is my last set of finals for the semester! I can’t believe it’s over already! I technically only have one more semester to go, and then I have officially will have my Associate’s Degree. It’s crazy to think that a year ago this was all a dream, a faraway thought. And here I am. One semester in. A lot of life changes a long the way, and I couldn’t be happier.
I had a conversation with my brother in law the other night about being in the right place at the right time. About how much of life, is being right where you should be, and the right opportunities coming your way. I wonder how much of life is chance, and how much of life is what you make it. This got me thinking about my upcoming internship, and hopeful work experiences. I have so much hope and motivation for the future. I don’t know where it’s all going to take me, but I am really hoping I make some good connections and my determination takes me somewhere unexpected.

This is such a cute outfit! I like that it is definitely retro/vintage looking but not costume-y at all. Also- that dress has so much more shape and fullness than when I saw it for sale. You rock that thing!

The future, it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes! I think a lot of our lives are out of our control, i.e. situational, where we are born, who we know, how we're raised and what opportunities we're given – so you have to do as much as you can with what you have in the end! Your dress is very sweet by the way
