Keeping Your Lips Hydrated This Winter March 18, 2020
How frustrating is it to have to constantly worry about chapped lips in the winter months? I know it drives me crazy and it’s so embarrassing to constantly worry about how they look when I am having conversations with people. I have found a few fool-proof products that really help bring my lips through the cold of winter and into spring.
First things first, let’s talk drugstore. This product is under $5 and has always been a true and trusted product for me. It’s an ongoing joke because all of my friends since college are obsessed with the swivel stick– and they all have me to thank for it! It’s one of those things you pull out and people immediately assume it’s a glue stick! It’s perfect to throw in your purse, and as you know Palmer’s products are some of the best for your skin. It’s easy to find and affordable!
Next in line is the Laneige lip sleeping mask. With over 9,000 positive reviews and only $20 this product is perfect to put on before bed, but also during the day. It has a light pink sheen to it, so it almost looks like gloss- which I love!!
The next product is not as popular but still one of my true blue favorites. The Sara Happ lip clay mask makes your lips sooo soft. I heard about this product when I was getting my lashes done a few years ago. My tech put it on my lips and let it sit for 20 minutes and then she wiped it off. My lips were the softest they have EVER been. I fell in love. This is to only be used as a mask, not anything else so it’s perfect when you’re using a face mask or working on your skincare.
The too faced balm is my new found OBSESSION. This product continuously sells out because of how good it is. The Too Faced hydrating lip balm is perfect if you’re looking for the sheen yet nourishing lip treatments. It creates a barrier so it keeps lips looking plump and shiny. I love putting this over lipstick or just on its own too.
Other items not pictured: Tatcha Lip Mask (this stuff smells so good and leaves your lips so soft) I love alternating this and the Laneige mask. This also comes with a little applicator so the product does not go on your hands. The texture of this is smoother than the Laneige mask. Lastly LipSmart is my favorite lip moisturizer and it fills in all the cracks in your lips by hydrating them completely. This product is NOT cheap, but I promise you it is worth the price.
