How To Make The Perfect Coffee At Home! April 17, 2020
Since the quarantine started Ryan and I have been making our coffee at home every day. Since we both used to do Starbucks every single day, this was quite a change for us. Buying the Vertuoline Nespresso Machine has been one of the best decisions we’ve made! I am so happy with it, and there are so many variations of recipes you can create, which I love. I like a smoother & light coffee so the Melozio and Alto Dolce pods are my favorite. Ryan likes darker blends so he loves the Odacio and Stormio pods. Here are some of my favorites.
Caramel Iced Coffee
- Brew your coffee the night/day prior and place in the refrigerator
- The next morning add ice + desired milk (I use unsweetened almond milk)
- 1 TBSP of Caramel Syrup and stir (This is what they use at Starbucks)
Flat White Over Ice
- Fill a large glass with ice
- Pour 3-4oz of Milk + Mix (this recipe calls for cows milk but I use almond)
- Brew this pod (made for coffee recipes with milk)
- Pour over milk + ice
- Add 1-2 TBSP of Caramel Syrup / French Vanilla Syrup (optional)
Cappuccino
- Froth Milk in Aeroccino (this comes with the machine we own)
- Brew espresso in a cup and put aside
- Add sugar to espresso (we use sugar in the raw)
- Pour foam + frothed milk into cup to cover coffee
