Hello friends! The weather in NJ has me missing the warm weather and I really hope it stays this way! Today I am so excited to be sharing 3 different styles of shorts that I am obsessed with lately! We’ve had some 70+ degree days and I have been loving it. Being able to take the baby out has been so fun, especially because he loves being outside to play.

I know people are intimidated by wearing less clothes in the summer and I can completely understand that- especially the way shorts are cut these days, I find it hard to find ones that really suit my body type. These shorts work best for me, and I am petite and curvy. I hope they work for you guys too, if you feel discouraged just try different styles until you feel confident in the ones you’re wearing.

High Waisted Denim Shorts– These shorts are so flattering and I love the little heart detailing! I love this style of shorts because it is long enough, and the cuff makes it very flattering on any thigh shape. I love the idea of high waisted shorts because they are great postpartum, and very forgiving if you want to eat a lot of tacos that day…and I mean A LOT. Paper Bag Shorts– This new “old” trend is one of my favorites! I have wanted to try the paper bag pants, but since it’s basically shorts season, I am going right to that. I LOVE the way this style looks on me. Since I do have a smaller waist I do feel like these are perfect for me. I love this style and how it has a vintage feel to it, definitely right up my alley!

Soft Tie Shorts–  I found these shorts and was unsure how they’d fit. After seeing people rave about them on social media I had to try them out. The material is SO soft and the tie is the perfect finish to these shorts. Great for tucking a shirt in, or even doing a half tuck with a button up. I love the way these fit, and also how forgiving they are. Again, I don’t like to wear things that are too tight and these are perfect.
