Friday Favorites : Apartment Edition November 8, 2013
So now that moving is in full effect and I still have yet to get most of my furniture, I wanted to do a little before/after series on the blog every Friday. Although I don’t have many photos of my place now I have a lot of ideas of things that need to be changed and revamped. Here are some of the things around the web that have been inspiring me. Pinterest is obviously has a plethora of photos to choose from, and I also love Elsie & Emma’s series “At home with.” I think what’s been most inspiring for me is the fact that so many people do great things with the spaces they’re given. The possibilities are endless, so when you get a whole place to yourself, you could go nuts! I am excited to share this journey and part of my life on the blog, as this is the first time I will be living completely on my own (no roommates-besides Oliver of course).
I love the idea of a simple apartment, that has just enough kitchiness to it that catches the eye. I love all of my vintage pieces so thinking about incorporating those is pretty exciting. I keep dreaming of ways to show off my camera collection, and my new 1960’s fan. What sites do you guys use for inspiration?

The white chair in the first picture is so cool!
I love the doors painted blue! We decided to paint all our doors black with white trim and I love it. My favorite place for inspiration are of course pinterest, I like design sponge and anthropologie too!

That feature on ABM is no doubt inspiring. Some people are too creative for their own good! Makes me feel so inept in that area, lol. Good luck on all your decorating! We're trying to get our new place situated too and it's so much harder than we initially thought. Hand-me-downs are not the most sightly things always, ha!xo Ashley thetiniestfirecracker.com
