In fashion, there are some trends we should stay away from, and some that are definitely worth trying. Of course these ideas differ from person to person, but I like to think that I have a good grasp on what my readers enjoy. With that in mind, I’ve chosen a handful of my favorite fall trends that are super-stylish, yet very easy to wear. Not only are these completely of-the-moment, but you’ll stay warm and look great while doing it!
- Falling for Floral
The flowers may not be blooming, but Harper’s Bazaar reports that wearing these budding botanicals are cropping up for the season. What I love about this dress is that it’s actually great for fall. The maxi length is perfect for pairing with ankle booties while also keeping your legs warm, although you could add a pair of tights underneath for extra warmth. Top it with a suede vest for extra warmth and the finishing touch to a perfect boho-chic look.
- Blazing Hot
According to Elle, a sexy blazer is hot for fall. Great for pairing with pants and a lacy camisole, this type of jacket is perfect for special occasions and holiday parties. The one seen here is black, but feel free to branch out by choosing something a little off the cuff, like brocade fabric, velvet, or satin.
- Denim on Denim
Lyst is loving denim, especially during the fall. And with the denim-on-denim trend going strong, it’s easy to see why. Pull of the look with a light denim shirt paired with jeans that have a darker wash. Finish it off with a great pair of boots, a scarf, and your favorite handbag.
- Statement Sleeves
I’m a big fan of the statement sleeve trend this season. It’s a fun departure from regular sleeves, and really has a way of creating interest. Whether you prefer bell sleeves, ruffle sleeves, lace sleeves, or extra long sleeves, there are a variety of styles to choose from. This adorable bell sleeve dress could easily be your go to LBD for fall.
- Sky High Boots
Over-the-knee boots are still trending this season, and I’m glad they’re sticking around. These are so effortlessly stylish, and surprisingly easy to wear. Wear them over jeans or leggings, and pair them with dresses and skirts for an instant dose of elevated style.
