Fall, Don’t Leave Me.

I woke up this morning, took a peek outside and realized that it was flurrying. Where did Fall go already? I wasn’t ready for a huge temperature drop and especially felt it even more when I got out of my warm car to go into the gym. This type of weather is what I call “shut down” weather. I want to curl up into a ball and not leave my house until I need to do so. This weather for me also calls for lots of layering, scarves and definitely hats.

I pretty much stay the same every year, and every year I wonder when Summer is going to be here, but once it’s here I don’t want it anymore. That’s how I am about a lot of things actually. Things seem a lot different once they’re in front of you and finally happening. I took a lot of before photos of my place, that  I am excited to share once I am more settled in. Most of the major stuff is happening this week so it’s a crazy time for everyone involved. All of my furniture is being put in place this week, and I finally have to move the odds and ends from my house now. You don’t realize how much crap you have until you start boxing it up. Over the years, it’s a lot of crap, let me tell you.

I really can’t wait to just sit on my couch with a cup of tea with my pup, and relax…Hopefully it’ll be here soon enough!

  1. You are the cutest! I am already pining for summer too. It feels like it was fall for a few weeks, and now winter is already here. I love summer so much, but I am the same way as you about other seasons. I actually love winter for about two weeks before Christmas and can't wait for it, but the day after Christmas I'm over it and want it to go away.
