One of the hardest things when dressing yourself as a stylish pregnant woman is finding clothes that fit. Summer was pretty easy because maxi dresses took over, and lots of strapless outfits that didn’t require much thought. When the seasons started transitioning my old coats fit me just fine. Month by month my belly would get bigger, and my coats stopped fitting. This was a hard concept for me to grasp because I think I didn’t expect it all to happen so fast. I started researching brands and coats to see what my options were, and most of them were NOT my style.
I came across Kimi & Kai and fell in love! Their coats are stylish and warm- and more importantly affordable! I have two of their coats for winter, and one even has an insert for the baby once he arrives. The camel coat is my favorite because it can be dressed up-or down depending on the occasion. It’s great for a winter wedding, or any type of party you have. The parka with the baby insert is definitely something I could see myself wearing postpartum. It has the insert for the baby (perfect for his first snow day) and it’s all around warm and comfortable. I know my body will want time to adjust and get back to normal so looser fitting clothes are going to be on repeat! Having these staples in my closet has really changed my pregancy.
Finding good brands to wear while pregnant has definitely been a struggle, but once you find what works for you- you have a better idea of what to buy. I personally have had an amazing experience with Kimi & Kai and they’ve been such a lifesaver during my pregnancy! Which one is your favorite? Shop both looks below!
