Thank you Lexington Law Firm for sponsoring this post. A high service partner and consumer advocate that will help you fight for the credit you deserve!
Hello everyone! Today I am so happy to announce that Ryan and I are homeowners!! This process has been extremely stressful but so rewarding and I can’t wait to give you all a home tour once we’re all moved in. I am also very excited to be teaming up with Lexington Law Firm in today’s post to talk all about our home buying process and sharing how you can repair and build your credit! The credit repair industry has grown in recent years creating a great deal of fact vs. fiction information. We all need to be educated that errors can and need to be fixed prior to making any large purchases where your credit is in question. When clients choose Lexington Law Firm they are working with people who are experienced and that have a great deal of knowledge in consumer protection laws. Lexington Law gives clients a foundation of trust and offers peace of mind knowing professionals are going to fight for your rights.
Our home buying journey started over a year ago when we initially started our search. We had so many requirements in mind- and every house we fell in love with ended up selling within a day of being listed. Homes were constantly gone before we’d even get a chance to place our bid in- or we’d get in a bidding war and lose. The whole house hunting process can be stressful and overwhelming, there were so many nights we’d come home feeling defeated and upset that we’d never find our perfect home. After over a year of searching- the perfect home fell right into our lap. While browsing Zillow I came across a house that had everything we wanted and we jumped right on it. I am happy to say that everything worked out and we can officially move forward in announcing our new home!
Although we ultimately found out that our credit was in good standing, we did use Lexington Law Firm for our initial consultation phase. They were so helpful and insightful in providing us information on our finances and credit score. There is so much that goes into the home buying process that neither of us was aware of prior to purchasing our home. So many different things can affect your credit score as well. Payment history, debt and credit utilization, length of credit history, inquiries and new credit, and a mix of credit accounts. Paying your bills on time is the most important behavior that will drastically affect your credit score. I am so happy my Dad at a young age instilled in me to pay all of my bills on time- it has made such a huge difference! It’s so important to stay educated, especially when making any large purchase that will require a credit check.
Lexington Law Firm can help couples who have gone through a variety of issues including divorce, medical bills, student loans, military deployment, identity theft or simply those who want to repair their credit score or build their credit. They provide a free personalized credit consultation, free access to TransUnion report summary, and a free credit report and recommended solutions. This can be so helpful in the process when you don’t think that fixing your credit is possible. Every year millions of Americans are denied loans for homes and cars due to errors on their credit reports. These errors can take up to four months to correct and this can be detrimental in the buying process. The best part of all of this is that educating yourself can truly make all the difference. Lexington Law Firm offers packages that meet every person’s needs, with prices as low as $24.95 per month.
